After a number of enquiries and prompts, the Lyrics and Laughter in Care Homes Project was recently started. The need for physical, mental, and spiritual care, more interaction between residents and their family and friends, as well as the continued support for those previously in our community groups, all led to this project.
Paul Crowther from Embracing Age (a Christian charity that supports work with older people), presented a talk at our Celebration Day about the difference that Lyrics and Lunch makes and can make in care homes. Here is a short excerpt:

Laurel Bank
The pilot group is taking place at Laurel Bank Care Home in Lancaster. We have had one session so far which was a success! We’re looking forward to our next one on Wednesday 30th July at 2:45pm.
